Concepts and symbols:

The concept is the temporal from the perspective of the eternal (the polyvalent—the ethics of causation). The object.

The symbol is the eternal from the perspective of the temporal (the narratological—the aesthetics of being). The subject.

These are the paradoxical solstices (the position in which things are most dynamic) and equinoxes (the position in which things are still) of consciousness.

Position and perspective, or signified and signifier, evokes and enables shame and guilt.

In nature, which is reality (without the illusion of the reflection), these are a dynamic yet unified energy-potency.

Symbols seem to be experienced externally—even dreams “come” to us. Concepts seem to be experienced internally, as we think. There is something paradoxical at play in this, as ultimately we believe objects are external to us, and our self is the subject of all we experience.

This must be because of the reflective/reflexive quality of consciousness. Sensation from phenomena or memory is viewed in the boundaries/composition of the self.

Encapsulating the narrative is a symbol and must have the quality of a note.

Releasing the definition is a concept and must have the quality of a rhythm.
